Prostate Cancer Risk

Prostate cancer appears to run in families. Men who have brother or father with prostate cancer are at more than twice the risk of developing the condition themselves. If a man’s brother is affected, his risk is higher than if only his father has the disease. And if several relatives have prostate cancer, especially at a young age, the risk is much greater.
